Superfood Wednesdays: Cacao

Cacao, the raw form of chocolate, was the star of the chocolate banana smoothie recipe from yesterday.  So, it’s only fitting and necessary that I share some of the many health benefits of cacao.   The list is extensive but it’s good to know some of the most important ones.  I mentioned in Tuesday’s post that they benefit you emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually.  Well, if cacao is a mood booster than of course it will benefit you in all of those areas but what makes it really special is how it can help you spiritually.  I could go into all of those in detail but this article from is quite thorough enough in breaking it down for you.  Pretty sweet (literally and figuratively).  Don’t you think?  😉
