Cacao, the raw form of chocolate, was the star of the chocolate banana smoothie recipe from yesterday.  So, it’s only fitting and necessary that I share some of the many health benefits of cacao.   The list is extensive but it’s good to know some of the most important ones.  I mentioned in Tuesday’s post that they benefit you emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually.  Well, if cacao is a mood booster than of course it will benefit you in all of those areas but what makes it really special is how it can help you spiritually.  I could go into all of those in detail but this article from souldiscoverycoaching.com is quite thorough enough in breaking it down for you.  Pretty sweet (literally and figuratively).  Don’t you think?  😉
