Wellness Wednesday: Get Your Water In!

I don’t know what the summer temps are like in your area but the dmv is blazing! Temps in the 90’s with what I call “that Carolina heat”!  Water intake needs to be up to par…No exceptions.  I know that many people don’t like to drink water because of the “taste”.  Whether you like the taste or not you have to get it in somehow.  You can simply add lemon or fruit to it which takes it to another level!

Personally, I’ve found that when I add lemon to my water I can drink it down in no time.  Not saying that the point of making water more palatable is so you can guzzle it down in record timing.  Adding lemon, lime or fruit to your water makes it taste better. It can also add nutrients to the water which improve digestion.

This is precisely why I drink lemon water first thing in the morning and throughout the day.  I’ve noticed many benefits including clearer skin.  I’m sharing these tips from guthealthproject.com which I found to be helpful for adding variety to water not only for taste but for increased health benefits!
