My love for essential oils for dates back to childhood when my mother introduced me to tea tree oil.  My stash contains over 15 types of oils including most of the ones on this list.  My favorites and most used are tea tree (melaleuca), lavender, and peppermint oils.  Although I love many of the others too.  I just need to familiarize myself with the new additions which include frankincense, myrrh, and clary sage to name a few.

I’ve used essential oils for everything from skin care to adding them to my vacuum filter for some aromatherapy while cleaning.  One of our favorite ways to use essential oils is with a diffuser.  Aromatherapy is a necessity in our home because we love anything that smells good.  It has a tremendous affect on your mood and health in general.  There are many different uses for essential oils as you can see and I haven’t even shared all of the ones I’ve tried.  I’ll be sharing them periodically on the blog because I use them on a daily basis.  Hope you find the above list of essential oils helpful!
